I hope that you are doing well! I hope that you have been able to pick up a hobby! If this email has been forwarded to you please consider subscribing! On that note let me introduce my original art to you!
Khata Series – Original Art:
What happens when humans start behaving like animals? This is the inspiration for my series of original ceramic sculptures! But why bother to work on this topic? Did you know that ceramic sculptures can last for 5,000 years and are found in archeological digs? This thought forced me to consider what I was making in ceramics that could last for a long time. Should I make some pop-culture artwork or make something that means something? You can read the story behind the lions & see more pictures by clicking on the images!
I am not a certified artist. I did not get a degree in Fine Arts to do this. That is why I am so glad that a gallery in Bangalore was willing to look at my work and include it in their list of works. If you would like to see this work in person please visit Gallery Time & Space on Lavelle Road. The show is on till the 9th of June, 2024.

Kent Milton – Excellent Sculptor:
He was one of the people who inspired me when I was a child! The local TV channel showed how cartoons like Aladdin and The Lion King were made and I saw his maquettes, not knowing anything about the sculptor! You can admire his works on his Instagram page!

Later on in life, I tried to make sculptures just like what I saw on TV years ago! I am not one to say that someone’s artwork was bad, but….see for yourself! Anyway, I recently found out that this wonderful sculptor passed away! You can read all about him on Cartoon Brew’s page! Online Sculpture Class 1-on-1:
I have also been teaching people how to sculpt through video calls! I teach people to sculpt with either Polymer Clay or Oil based clay. This taught on a learn-as-you-go model. You can learn at your own pace and you can reschedule if something comes up! You can read more about it here.

Again, as with all of my classes, you don’t need to know how to draw! I will guide you through the basics and help you gain confidence to sculpt anything! The subject is again humans. In this we can sculpt the whole human body!
Lastly, I hope this gives you motivation to create art!

That’s all I have for this month! It would really help me if you could forward this blog to those who you think might need this information. Hopefully, they might subscribe too!
Do you have any feedback? As a growing artist I really could benefit from your suggestions!
Thank you! Take care and see you in the next newsletter!
